Possible heater failure, or heater related wiring/components.

Can anyone confirm if this is correct as I have had a FDW85 for 3 weeks and my dishwasher has just started flashing this code

When you say you have had it for three weeks, if that is from new and you have a fault/error message then contact your supplier/service agent, you will be covered by your g/tee.

I know that I will be covered by the guarantee, but was just wondering what the fault was as it is not covered by the instruction manual or on their website.

The error messages basically fall into two groups, those that the general public can address themselves such as, make sure the door is closed, filter cleaned, plug switched on, taps turned on etc. The other error codes will tell you to contact a service agent or supplier. That means that the fault is such that the machine needs attention from someone with technical experience. The web site or the manual will not go into details on these for several very good reasons.
If you have an AL08 code then you must contact the person responsible for the under g/tee repair of your machine. It is not something you can or should attempt to repair yourself.
