ParticipantHi i have an indesit that has given up the ghost.
It started yesterday when all the washing was wet and then would not spin.
I removed all the pipes at the rear of the machine including the pump and thoroughly cleaned them,i also undid the trap at the front and cleaned this too.i removed the control module and checked all the capacitors and they all seemed fine, put it all back together and then turned on the machine!!
Any cycle i select refuses to work, however i can hear a click whenever it attempts to go and then all the lights along the top light up and 2 on the side.
The door still opens when you turn the machine off too!
Any advice wold be greatly appreciated up till then this has been the best machine we have ever had!!May 28, 2015 at 12:29 pm #427697iadom

Moved to correct forum. 😉
You must have had some shockers in the past then. :rolls:
The error codes are given by the lower five vertical lights on the right, ignore the flashing lights. Lights number from BOTTOM to TOP, lowest light being 1.
Not at home ATM , visiting family so only have my iPad. All the error codes are listed at the to
of the forum, will try and locate if you can’t find it.May 28, 2015 at 12:39 pm #427698iadom

Lights 1,2 & 4 is supposed to be F11, drain pump cannot be activated. Check for pump blockages by removing and cleaning the pump filter. Shine a torch inside to make sure there is no obstruction.
If all clear the the pump wiring or even the main pcb could be faulty. I have seen pumps burn out on these and take out the main pcb. 🙁May 28, 2015 at 3:43 pm #427699redcock49

if its burnt out would there be visible signs??
Is it worth getting another PCB and just giving it a go??

Have you looked at the pump filter yet?
If the pump has burnt out then it usually has obvious signs of burning on the pump windings.
A new pcb will cost around £100, it will need programming with a one use only smart card at £20 but to use the card you will need a card reader, around £100+.
One of the many reasons that the trade does not share your affection for Indesit appliances. 😉
