On my previous post, my Zanussi ZWF1430W had expired (burnt out control module). Within the space of a day, my White Knight 767c’s drum spider has shattered :sadder:

Isn’t it strange how these things happen, both machines are five years old and had constant use (we’re a family of five). both machines pack in at the same time.

Anyway, I’ve just placed an order for an AW23 with a five year warranty. I hope that it’s as good as you chaps make it out be 😀

Now for a replacement tumble drier………………….any thoughts?

    Hi Threecoos

Up to now I have always found the White Knight dryers to be a good all round dryer for a reasonable price with spare parts readily available at a reasonable price. However the latest crop seem to be more flimsy. I would look at the Zanussi range or if you can afford the budget the ISE 10 Condenser tumble dryer 6KG load C rated with a full ten-year warranty is an excellent long term investment.

    HTH 🙂

    Thanks Don,

Hey, I’ve just ordered an AW23 – so the ISE 10 Tumbler is a wee bit rich for me at the mo’.

I had thought that someone might have recommended the Bosch Tumble dryers but you have caome up with Zanussi. Any reason why?

    Cheers

Bosch tumble dryers, some are produced by White Knight, others used to be or still are by Gorenje produced. Saying that take a peek at the Gorenje D72325 good size 7kg load, well made with a two year warranty. Available from any good independant.
