Amana fridge freezer

I have recently inherited an Amana fridge/freezer (model XRSS264BB).

We are having problems with the water/ice dispenser. Details as follows:

• Water doesn’t dispense (I have changed the filter)
• The front control board doesn’t work – the lights are on for “change filter” and “ok” but you cannot change the ice dispensing options – so all you get is large cubes.
• The ice dispenses ok, and it makes ice ok too (albeit you can’t change the type of ice made).

I think it might be the main control board that is the problem, and would like advice on the likely cost of fixing, please?

I can’t find the board for it at all but, given the amount of obsolete parts coming up I’d hazard what I think would be a safe assumption that it will be obsolete now.

Even if you could get it, it’d be a stupid price knowing that stuff.

The part you need is the Better Board Parts No 67002263 (may have had a number change) But I also feel its no longer available. I’m certain the last one I tried to obtain I couldn’t get it. (Parts drawing attached).
