American Fridge Freezer

For the last 2 weeks I have been trying to decided what fridge freezer to buy.
Comparing tech spec, size, watching video reviews on youtube and trying to figure out which reviews are fake ( paid for ).

My goal is to get a reliable double side door american f/f 91cm wide up to £1000.

I am a which magazine member, but not sure can I trust them that much as they are recommending a lot of Hisense stuff.

I don’t know is it right but I mainly focused on two brands: LG and Samsung. Other options in the price range are Beko, hotpoint or Hisense.

Samsung have 5 years parts and labour warranty and 10 years linear digital inverter compressor.

For under a 1k budget I went with Beko, reason being spares are easily available as is service. LG and Samsung are okay when working but spares and service is very sporadic at best.

John Lewis own brand is usually produced by the AEG, Electrolux and Zanussi group. If this model is then it should be fine. I personally think it’s an AEG variant.

Hope its going to be easy enough to remove the fridge doors so it can fit kitchrn door frame lol

We just had one installed last week, a Samsung with a water dispenser. We declined the ice machine as we rarely if ever use ice. The actual quality of the Samsung (£850) seems superb got a bad credit loans online for it. It has a 10 year guarantee and the controls are simple to work. So far it appears to do what it says on the box and it’s got so much room in it.

You need to bear in mind that the ones with the ice machine need to be plumbed in.

Beko american f/f is superb.
More than happy with it.
While fridge including display is energy saving.
That means that the temperature digiys are only once I am using the fridge and few seconds afterwards.
energy saving mode setup by manufacturer.
Can I actually have the display ON permanently?
