american fridge freezer Hotpoint MSZ802

looking to buy american side by side on a budget with no ice maker. looked at samsungs and lgs in shop and seals look very poor. Looked at Hotpoint MSZ802 and quality of seals and internals much better but cannot find a review anywhere online impartial or otherwise. Anyone out there have any knowledge of this model or can reccommend a model at the cheap end. Thanks 😕

We’ve been working on them for about two years and haven’t changed a seal yet – perhaps you should check if you can change the seal on the Hotpoint or whether you have to change the whole door.

thanks for reply, looked up hotpoint parts on whitegoods site and no seals but replacement doors avaliable at £90 for fridge and £104 for freezer. Samsung fridge seals come in at £65 cannot find seals or doors for Lgs. Have you worked on Hotpoint MSZ802, are they know for any particular faults? If its not seals youve been changing on samsung/lg what parts tend to go. which model would you recommend without ice maker.
