Most common is the front pcb. You’ll have to check the serial number to see whether you need both boards changing.

Original fault was ff display showing -18 and +4 but only internal evap. fan running. I fitted new rear pcb but still same so I assumed it must be the front pcb. Fitted orig. pcb back and returned to fit new front board. Still same but now CF shows up after a couple of mins. I have also checked the connector under the top hinge cover which is ok.

I suspect that this machine is 2003 or older and has the older type boards hence the “cf” when you fitted the new front board.

As to the fault you’ve got, how long did you wait after fitting the new rear board? When you first switch on it should go into defrost mode. Takes about 20 mins before it actually starts up.

Told that the machine is about 18mths old.I know that there is a delay on start up but I’m sure that when I’ve fitted a rear board previously it’s started up within about 5 mins.
