KeymasterI can get Amica bits, whatever you like. Trouble is the lead times as things stand although I can ask if you like.
I’ve just no clue what to put into stock other than what we have useage figures on, which isn’t much.
Masterpart also have a few Amica bits. Don’t ask me how I know that, I just do. 😕
Little point asking GD, so far as I know they have nadda.

Not to worry Chris, I struggle to keep up at times! Worse, I struggle to let people know about stuff at times. 😕

Thx Guys.
Wrang amica this morning who say they don’t sell spares anymore and gave me a contact number for a company that do,Wrang them who told me to go to the supplier of the machine and ask them for a contact number.WHAT A HUGE F**KING JOKE THIS COMPANY IS THEN. ( my thoughts only ).
So i wrang my customer and asked her how old the machine is, 18 month she said so i told her to ring Amica herself and book in a service call.
Asked her to report back to me.
From now on i will not be selling Amica machines to people on a low end budget Nor will i be doing out of warranty work on them either.
Getting a bit frustrating this is, all this damn crap the public are buying and main manufacturers fobbing people off. Its a absolute JOKE.
Rant over.

have replaced 2 thermostats on amica f/f as fridge was freezing and stat could not be adjusted ,but even a new stat does not cure the problem.all i can think is the stat is in the wrong place or it is badly insulated. 😡

the trouble is you can buy a hec in coop for £160
parts have gone up 16 to 22{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} the vat is about to increase
that’s a possible 25{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} increase hell of a job to compete these days for a couple of parts or a refurb with a warranty.
the customers are haggling over a genuine repair that will last a long time over a cheap thing from a shop that doesn’t care
neither does the customer give a dam even if you given them service for years if they think there having a new washer for a couple of quid more.paul…

Lee,
Door interlock I can likely do from stock, I’d need to check though. PCB, defo not.
Galway, what machine? If I know what it is I can take a look and, if required, liaise with Poland directly. But I need to know what it is to have a look.
Garn you’re right, there’s not much in the way of an alternative “budget” machine and certainly not one that you can actually look after yourself. I’m trying not to bang the drum as it were but, that’s why we have ISE. However it just isn’t really possible to do cheap and own service with reasonably priced parts, the economics of it just don’t stack up. I know this due to some very painful lessons.
That’s not to say that we’ve given up, we just haven’t found the way to do it yet. 😉

Thx Ken but its no problem, The customer of mine didn’t purchase the machine from me ( thank god ). but i have sold a good few amica’s to customers,Hope they don’t have any problems that need parts within the guarantee period,Amica are just passing the buck back to the supplier,But to tell me they don’t do the parts anymore for their own products and fobbing you off back to the supplier, well i know what im dealing with now with amica so i’m gonna wash that word from my head and kindly decline any work on them from now on.
