BlockedI’m new to the world of retailling, but I’ve stocked a few Amica appliances to retail now as I’m only retailing what I service. Apologies if this is known knowledge, but…
Can we get deals direct with Amica / UKW for appliances as part of this new partnership?
Adrian 🙂

KeymasterOnly through Portway, Red Kite and a couple of other distributors Ade, we don’t touch the appliances as such.

Ade
Swift electrical (swiftuk.co.uk) have a more of a range than portway.
Also they sell more of the original models from poland AWCT AWCN range similar chassis to the ISEAW23.
Portaway are selling in the main when they have the stock the non polish ones AWP, AWO. still work at the end of day 😉
If you want the reps number, I will let you have it, I think it will be the same as mine he lives your way as way.
Not sure if they have been invited to the meeting, should I ask if they would like to send someone?

is there any chance an extra trade discounts on supplying these appliances as we are retailers and repaires i think its only fare the £rate on a fix is not to be snubed at but if you count the whole of the job fix up inc the disposal of the old parts there is not a great deal £.. in the job.
iv only had to breakdowns out of 53 units iv sold since amica launched in 2008 the last to 14 months old and 6 months
the customer had to wait a few weeks for a repair and the 2nd one i put a hoover machine as a loan .an extra trade dicount would encourage SALES AND TAKE THE PAIN OUT apoljizing with your cap in your hand to the customer because i sold the appliance.

The appliances are cheap enough any way, you can easily make £100 box if not more, £5k profit on sale of 53 units not bad?!
Swift already has dropped the trade price with discount for being a WTA member!
Are you going to their show, you may get some extra discount on the day?You say you have only had 2 breakdowns out of 53 which goes to show they been installed properly and your customer using them correctly so not bad 😀
The one 14mths would i guess be the polish one failed as a result of dispenser leak or weight issue and the 6 mths chinese one pcb or weight issue?
Two jobs at £50 a popIf you pre diagnosed and ordered the parts as soon as the job was in then you would not have had to loan the one, the maximum weight time I have had was only a week, that was for a cock up at the factory on bearings for the AWP range!
I dont get where the problem is ❓
Swings and roundabouts as they say 😉
