amica AWP 510L MOTOR SURGE

HI garn hear
just called up the road to my neighbors.
thay have a 510L when select program the machine pumps first and then fills. as soon as it stops filling the first turn of the motor goes into a fast surge then alarm buzzer sounds and wash light and spin light flashes and empties out

Any idea doubt that its the motor carbons its only 14months old and a OAP single user.

thought it may be the appliance is still under guarantee il have to book in after the new year.

are you able to change the taco on these or is it a replacement motor

Not sure to be honest, never actually had this fault on an Amica based machine. I doubt that the tacho is available as a spare.

I would be checking tacho magnet, wiring to tacho and also motor plug wiring to tacho then sticking my megger on the tacho as well.

I tried to get ‘blwythyn newith tha’ to translate without success, but if my guess is correct then I hope,
“tha ‘as a reet gud new yeer, thi’sen” 😀
