amica freezer not freezing help!

hi,
i know this is probably a long shot but i have an amica (34888) upright freezer which i am having problems with the freezer light is working and the alarm also works when the door is left open but it has defrosted all the contents! we have tried to put it on super freeze and the light turns orange but still no freezing it also is not making any noise like it has stopped working altogether except for the alarm and the light…i cannot find my manual for it and have google searched until i can take no more… please help.

The lack of motor running could be:
thermostat failed
compressor/motor failed
relay failed
poor connection

you wopuld need a decent measure of diy skill plus an avo meter of some sort to check the parts out.
