anybody know of a part number or a supplier for an adapter to fit a standard gas hose to the gas inlet on amica gas cookers. the thread on the connector at end of cooker is a male thread but the gas hose also has a male thread so a double female adapter is needed so it can be connected. other manufacturers supply this adapter but not amica-they supply a female to male adapter that basically lenthens the pipe but not able to connect a hose to.

yes that is the part so there must be a part number from amica or is it from another manufacturer. can you forward that picture to anne at amica as i have tried to explain to her but a picture is best.

our gas fitter has complained about this too but usually has an adaptor on board. iirc amica/gdha (bless) thought it was something to do with european market when i spoke to them, but to be fair its not something i expect gdha to be aware of, its something you need to collar simon freear about 🙂
have been assured by my dist. that latest models now come with the adaptor, so as long your distributor is sending out the latest stock i guess there wont be any more problems…? hth
