amica gas cookers

i need to know if there is a part number for a gas inlet adapter, the problem is every time i fit a new amica gas cooker i need a double female thread 1/2″ adapter so a standard gas hose can be fitted. other manufacturers supply this connector with the cooker but amica supply a male/female adaptor that is unsuitable. i have asked alister at amica but no answer as yet. please help

Yes, this is the case on every Amica gas cooker. I have previously asked this at BDC when it was open, and the manager asked Amica about this and they said that it conforms to B.S. Only answer is to start stocking the 1/2″ coupling on ya van.

i know what your saying but the coupling needs to have a stop about 15mm into it so the fitting from cooker end tightens on to it with the washer provided otherwise you are relying on the nut part of the fitting to seal gas tight-not ideal and in my opinion not safe
