ParticipantHi all
I am looking to get an induction hob and my eye has been drawn to the Amica Inari which seemingly allows you to heats your pans whichever part of the hob you put them on.
I don’t know much about Amica and sourcing their hobs is no too easy.
Could anyone advise me as to the quality of this product, if my understanding of how it works is correct and whether Amica is a reliable and reasonably good quality brand?
Thanks

Amica is Polish I have not seen the hob but as far as i know all Amica product carry a 2 year warranty and it is serviced by local engineers from this site
also depending where you live, there may be a local engineer who will both source the product, and deal with under guarentee repairs should they be neededDave

I know De Dietrich produce a “two” zone flexi zone but I have not come across an Amica one.
Out of curiosity which model number is it?

Thanks for that Dave. I am located in Llandysul, South West Wales. The nearest service engineer listed on the Amica site is Ask Washtech but he is in Ammanford which is a way away and understandably wouldn’t necessarily want to take on the task although he has kindly offered to source a hob if I can’t get one online. If there is anyone nearer, I would be pleased to hear from them.
Kind regards
Darryl

Also, I was going to order the 60cm PI6511SF from Sparkworld Ltd. Does anyone know of this company?

Hi
I’ve finally given up on the Amica hob. All the major on-line retailers seem to have stopped stocking it and the local service agents don’t hold stock.
I have finally gone for a Whirlpool ACM847BA Touch Control 60cm Induction Hob which is a Which best buy and, as a result, also difficult to find. Finally got one on ebay at £399.99 which is a bargain for a unit that which says is hard to fault.
Thanks for your input and patience with a newbie :clown:
Kind regards
