ModeratorSurprised to see no mention or discussion about the demise of the Amica service network….
Did only the odd job myself so no great loss to me but sad to hear this and hope the staff involved will move on without to much hassle. Anne had built up a good relationship with the trade and worked hard for the brand.December 3, 2016 at 8:48 am #443304electrofix

Yes it is moving to CDA from Jan/Feb time which is no great surprise really as the integrate stuff as they say.
To be honest I’m not directly involved all that much in what Amica does or doesn’t do as we just hosted it for them.
I’ve known about it for a while but was sworn to secrecy on what they were doing until it was announced to all agents and staff so, I respected that and did as asked.

Shame, I’ve just started selling Amica again after a while of not.
How do you find out if CDA need you or not? Is this something the WTA can help with?December 3, 2016 at 4:58 pm #443309Lawrence

Don’t forget that CDA ditched their network of agents via email at 5pm on a Friday telling them work was with repair care as of the coming Monday its in the forums somewhere.
Whilst Amica used WTA members there was no other dialogueJanuary 19, 2017 at 2:13 pm #443310Lawrence

You wouldn’t like the contract at all..Seriously They take money off you if your one day late submitting invoices and you have to supply them an excel file with the job details and work done before you can even invoice them.If the appliance is BER’d by them then you lose money..Second repair on the same visit reduced money and all repairs by you are liable for 12 months warranty so you are under writing their warranty.
And thats a short version.
