Hi all
Haven’t seen any of these before – it appears to be a machine originally intended for the German market but has ended up here in the UK.
The customer states that it has/was squeaking quite a bit although it apparently stopped just after phoning me and refused to do it while I was there.
Having had a good look round the machine I can not find any obvious cause and there is no play in the rear bearing block or motor bearings that I can see/feel, the only place where there was any play was in the front edge of the drum but the two pads at the top of the front support looked OK as far as I could tell, I have greased up the rear drum bearing and put it all back together for the customer to continue to use till it shows itself again.
Does any one know of a common cause for the squeak on these and is there any service manual available so that I can better familiarise myself with it.
