ParticipantHi
My old analogue meggar has died. The only new ones I can see on the internet are digital ones.
Does anyone know where I can buy or has a old analogue meter with a needle that they are willing to sell? Thanks

They are a lot easier to read at a glance…………….plus you can demonstrate poor reading results to your customer more easily with a dial they can see rather than a digital number that means little or nothing to them. “If the reading was over this side lady it would be fine, your machine however reads over here and that’s real bad as you can see?”

Last time I looked, a couple of years ago, there were plentiful used ones on e-bay very cheap and not necessarily clapped out.

Mike.Be careful what you buy though, I thought the £24 one I bought was a bargain but it had an intermittent fault with the test button :rolls:
Might open it up yet and see if it will fix…unless someone wants to buy it for £24 🙂January 8, 2011 at 7:52 pm #340395raw
