    perfect condition
wont heat on any program at all
    no error codes/flashes given
    completes cycle fine
dispenser solenoid activates as it should
tub “open” element checks out ok for continuity.
pcb is the remote ntc-on-dispenser type and all looks fine visually
theres a circuit through the joints for ntc wires on the main board
    ntc resistance varies with temperature

now just scratching my head. dont want to get beaten on this one a: for pride and b: cos its my nans (hence me not setting our ex-engineer on it cos he’ll charge me!) and been well looked after and not heavily used.

other than hunting for the element thermostat, replacing the element because of lack of insulatation, or replacing the heater relay on the board, are there any blindingly obvious things ive missed because it looks pretty simple inside compared to a bosch

We meet again eh suede 😀 !!! yes im finally here…

No I havent any old boards for these 😉

    Cheeky sod.

Connect also have it listed as out of stock, and the £46 + vat is 1/4 of cost of a bosch@trade, so considering how temperamental the electronics seem to be for this model, and the fact its 7 years old…

Ill have a chat with them but I know if it is the pcb I think the grandparents would prolly rather buy a new dishwasher, (but ill surprise them with an early christmas present if it looks like its going down that route)

Just would really like to. *FIX*. it. 👿 frustrated 👿

So if anyone has any step by step guides on acurrately testing the heater circuit components on the board/how to identify a corrupt component id like to have a go at replacing it – its been 10 years since i studied the basics of electronic engineering so im a bit rusty, but as its a shot to nothing i can only end up learning something 😯
