ParticipantHi,
I have a WIDL126 washer dryer and have tried to search for the problem on here but can’t find any the same as mine.On a wash and dry program, it will wash for a while but then stops with the door lock light flashing rapidly and horizontal lights 2 and 4 flashing every second.
The door was locked because there was still water in. I unplugged and left for a bit and then back in again. The door locked again and did nothing. I drained the water manually, and tried again and the same happened. After this i though it was the water pump but after i drained it a second time and put it on a dry cycle with nothing in, it just filled up with water. I’ve tried all that i can think of but i don’t know what it is.
I just don’t understand why it would fill up with water when its on a drying cycle.
any help is most appreciated as i don’t have the cash to fork out for a new one.
Thanks in advance,
Paul

Participantits f05, which is probably a blocked pump
to start with, you might want to check your pump filter ( under the kickstrip at the bottom right)
the pump is obstructed or blocked, possibly faulty

Thanks for the reply.
I took the filter out yesterday and there were two hair clips in it but nothing else. I took them out and refitted the filter and tried again, but the same things happened again and it filled up with water.Do you think it could be the pump then?
cheers

Participantmost definately
u need to put ur fingers into the pump, and ensure the impellor rotates reasonably freely
it might also be worth checking the sump hose ( the black hose from the tub to the pump ) for obstructions

i’m going to have a look at the pump in a minute to check for blockages.
Would this have any affect on it filling with water on a drying cycle?

Participantyes.. because it takes water while it dries
and it doesnt empty it out, so if it fills up
