ParticipantHave had Partfinder 2 from Merloni since May of this year.
Come to use it today and get the message ‘This information now obsolete and invalid’. and won’t load it up. I’m absolutely gobsmacked!!!
It might be slightly out of date (four months on β ) but to block access to the disk is incredible π .Tony C πΏ

Yeah, There are 2 issues a year and we are now well into using the second issue this year. I guess if you use it that rarely, its not going to be worth the cost.

That won’t work as the disk info goes into your computers ‘registry’ file. And don’t go there, trust me, better stump up for a new disk like the rest of us π
(The fact is that we need Merloni to give us this info AND more would be even better for the price πΏ )

Would be interested in how you cope then in getting the information you need? Surely you do a lot of Merloni/Hotpoint/Indesit/Creda etc etc work don’t you?

P.S The folks at Merloni are reading this with interest too by the way π

To tell the truth Martin most of the things I do are very standard faults, what you may call the bread and butter jobs not that I refuse any, thatβs just the way it is round here, the population is mainly unemployed or on benefits for one reason or another so the machines are usually over 5 years before I get to them and if itβs anything costly itβs a loan from the social and a new washer. I get very excited at the thought of getting my hands on recent models, as for dishwashers, the same applies I have done about 8 in 32 years.
I suppose that what most of you are talking about now will be of some use to me in the next 2 to 3 years LOL. Oh by the way I think you are all very clever π
