    Hi,

I’ve done a quick search and discovered I’m not alone in having problems with our oven! Sorry for re-posting on this but I haven’t found what I’m looking for yet.

    It’s a NEB Vicenza Mirror
    Model: FE4623ES

We’ve just moved into the house and inherited the oven and there are a couple issues with it.

    1) No manual! So we have no idea how to work it. This nearly floored us from the first day as the power had been off and we couldn’t get it to come to life. After some random button pushing, (why do you have to set the clock for it to work?!), it’s alive but only just, and I still have no idea what sequence of buttons woke it up!

    2) The oven isn’t heating up properly! With the function selector set to the square with a bar in the top and bottom of it, (I’m assuming this is both elements on), only the top of the oven warms up. So I reckon the lower element is dead.

    – A little side note for anyone with this problem – We’re managing to cook stuff using the grill. With the function selector on grill and fan and some tin foil covering the top self to stop the food burning you can get 180-190 degrees out of the oven and still cook things.

Anyways, back to my request for help….

Does anyone know where I can get a copy of the manual for the oven?

How do I get to the bottom element? Typically the one that works is nicely on show in the oven and easy to get at, and the one that doesn’t is hidden under the oven floor which doesn’t look removable. So I’m guessing I need to get the oven out of the units and start removing panels to find the element.

    Thanks in advance.
