Another new fridge freezer post Bosch or Liebherr

Hi, I’m new to this great forum and have been looking through and searching the forums for information and now know that the majority of people recommend Liebherr, Bosch and Siemens fridge freezers.

I am moving into my first house and need a fridge/freezer about 60/40 split, it doesn’t have to be huge because there are only 2 of us at the moment. I don’t have loads of money to spend but I generally like to buy decent quality which will last.

I have been looking at Bosch and Liebherr but can’t decide if the Liebherr is worth the extra money. We would also be looking at the cheapest liebherr so are these still good?

I have used this site for examples but could probably find cheaper once I decide on a model:

What I was wondering is what people think of the Liebherr CUN3033 compared to the Bosch as it is more expensive and only comes with a 1 year warrenty (unless I buy from John Lewis but then it is more expensive) so is it worth the extra money.

Also does anyone have any other suggestions for other models keeping in mind the Liebherr CUN3513 at £575 is the very top of the budget, if anything it is over budget.

Liebherr refrigeration is the best you are going to get in the UK as far as traditional fridge freezers are concerned. The Bosch is a good alternative but the build and longevity of life on the Liebherr is better IMO.

Both manufacturers have excellent service back up.

If you have any concerns about guarantees you can always extend by a further 2, 3 or five years depending on which insurance company you use. Or as you say by purchasing from JPL you will get the added bonus of a longer free one.
