Can anyone advise me what make washing machine is generally the most reliable? We’ve had three machines in the last 7 years, and invariably start having problems after about 18 months. Our latest one was an indesit we14, and although it mostly worked well until it’s latest fatal error code, we always had problems with the dial. Whatever it was set to, a different programme would come up seemingly randomly.

Any suggestions what would be a good make of replacement? We have a nine month old baby so have to do a load every day. Thanks!

If you want a decent machine that will last then it has to be Bosch, Zanussi if your budget can stretch to it a Miele.

Steer clear of the low budget machines, theyre a false economy. A Miele washer will outlast a Beko many times over.
