ParticipantI’ve got a call to go to, maybe tomorrow, maybe the next day whenever that is? It’s a machine I’ve got to fix, I don’t know what machine it is mind you or what’s wrong with it? Should I take my toolbox? What tools do you think I should take? What could be wrong with it? Where should I start looking? 🙄
….any thoughts? 😈

Spare the thought…no! I was being a little facetious over those of our ‘colleagues’ who regularly ask questions of us about machines they have yet to even look at…?
Here is a typical example: –

Drum not turning. Does anyone know if there is a common fault on these washers, modual, motor dodgy harnes or brushes.
Any tips would be greatfully apreciated.:rolls:

This seems like a good spot to expound a thought.
The current group of moderators do a fine job of sorting out the public enquiries, but I would suggest that we have a weakness with the Fridge forum. Responses are often slow and (in my opinion) rather vague. Don’t get me wrong here – I’ve spent 15 years avoiding the things like the plague, so have little understanding or interest in them.
May I suggest that we round up a “fridge mod” in the near future? We appear to have some specialists – Alf F, r600a spring to mind, but aren’t exactly prolific posters – I’m sure there are others.
I thank you,
