Has anyone done a bearing change on a Bosch WVD24520/04?
Any tips/tricks and pointers would be very useful.

You really should check out the eSpares website on “How to change bearings” which demonstrates exactly what you ask as it happens. Twas a recent thread on here in fact very recently, though as I’m on a canal boat somewhere in deepest Lancs right now, I can’t give you the direct url link. 😉

Bosch eshop is down for maintenance till 29th. Looks like it may have the “iron cross”. Did something like it on a Bosch washer a long time back. Wasn’t too bad but can’t actually remember too much about it. Usual problem of course is unbolting the cross (torx IIRC) and then manouvering it out through the back – don’t recall having to take drum out of cabinet, but not sure.

Trusted , your model is NOTHING like that one !! For a start its a washer dryer and will have a metal outer tub and an external bearing cross .
