    Hi,
looking at venturing into the commercial catering side of things and would appreciate any advice.
I have got my domestic acs etc and I can do the changeover course for the comcat side of things, so I don’t think the gas side of things will be so much of an issue, got a lot of experience with all types of domestic appliances and some with commercial laundry but never really ventured into commercial catering.
It looks from the outside a decent side of the business to go into with the ability to charge more even the jobs advertised for engineers seem to be paying half decent.
I don’t think they’re going to be to much different to the domestic equivalent side of things, I would just like peoples advice / experiences on what that side of the trade is like and if it is a viable option to go into.
    cheers
    Phil

    Hi Phil,
I’ve PM you my contact details. There’s much to discuss if you’re interested. It’s easier to speak and answer questions rather than writing essays! Much commercial equipment is proper problem solving, diagnostics and repairable like domestic machines use to be but with the added advantage that you can get to individual components. Great fun, very interesting, varied and rewarding.
    Cheers
    Chris
