As the founding member of the IHATESMEGDW club, id really appreciate it if some clever chap would mind giving the normal resistance parameters for the various solenoids found on a smeg dw

i.e inlet, dispenser, salt regen, etc…

would really appreciate it before i make myself go bald…

also need to know if 1.5k is too low for dispenser valve :/

I just use a slaved on water valve randomly picked from my parts bin to check for dispenser valve values and they usually work fine so I guess the resistance would be similar in value. ditto the regen valve. can take readings for you tomorrow, too late now to go rooting around in the van outside.

if it assists anyone else i found a post on fixya/how2mend/etc saying a smeg inlet feed should be 3.6k, soooo…

its no different to any other solonoid valve on your van, just test one of those.

ive fitted water valve coils to these dispensers even though the original is around 1.5k and the water coil is around 3.5k.they have always worked.
