    Hi,
    I have an APM 8702 Washer/dryer that runs smoothly when empty but struggles to turn anti clockwise when it has clothes in (even just a few items). The belt seems ok and the bearings seem good. Any ideas?

    Are you sure that it only affect drum rotation in one direction?

    A faulty capacitor would normally affect rotation in both directions but apart from that it is almost certain to be the problem especially as it gets worse with a heavier load.
