First went to this when the fridge was reading ‘H’. Accessed the freezer expecting to find an Ice blockage, none found. Noticed that the fan in the fridge was not turning on, tested the fan which was fine and decided upon the NTC in the fridge.
Replaced the NTC ( didn’t remove the integrated m/c, used solder to connect the wires) Fan switched on, problem solved.
About two weeks later, was recalled, fridge reading ‘H’. This time the fan was working asking for cold air to cool the fridge. Removed the freezer plastics to find masses of ice blocking everything up. Defrosted the freezer, job done. Or so i thought!!!
Another recall now sees the fridge freezing, whilst still reading ‘H’. The fan is constantly on, so it seems. The freezer is icey considering it had a total defrost less than a week ago.
Any ideas, do you think the three faults are connected?
I wonder if it is another faulty NTC, wrongly saying the fridge is too hot and asking for the fan to deliver more and more cool air.
Any help would be gratefully received.
thanks, Neon.
