Built in Merloni jobbie. Set timer, switch on,door locks, relays click on PCB and everything happens – except for motor action.

We have a circuit through the motor and the loom. We have a circuit off the board through the motor. Heater is fine. Subbed in replacement board with no difference.

    What am I missing?

    Thanks,
    Chris.

We’ve been to a few the same and changing the PCB has fixed them – 546021400

On the previous version you wouldn’t get anything after the door lock with a PCB fault but on these new ones we’ve seen them fill/drain/heat ok when the board goes.

    All right, my learned friends………

    I have:
1/ Continuity tested every wire in the machine
2/ Fitted one of EMWs’ finest recon modules further to NWARs comment
    3/ Fitted my spare timer (Hey – it’s Sunday, I’ve got time 🙁 )
4/ Subbed in my spare motor
5/ Infinite earth reading on the heater

And it still won’t run the motor.

I’m disinclined to believe in two duff modules (never had a duff one from EMW), so anything I’m missing here? Or shall I just send for the trebuchet?

    Chris.

Is this machine made by Antonio Merloni or the Indesit mob?
