APP6403 thermostat product change

Hi, I have just purchased a new type thermostat from Whitegoods who have been very helpful but the product delivered (which i have double checked is the correct one) is completely different from the original one.

So much so that the hole for the dial to go through is on the right side on the original and the left on the new product – could i install by reversing the facing of the board ?

It seems to me it is not the correct product for my freezer – but before I return to Whitegoods has anyone else come across this ?

Hi

I think 546039400 is the part number you require. 546039402 is a different board manufacturer. 546039400 shows up for your model APP6403 on my parts info.
