I always have been a forum junkie 🙂

Here are some of the more active appliance forums I read here in the US.

    http://www.applianceblog.com/mainforums/

    http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/

    http://forums.partselect.com/

    http://applianceguru.com/

I would be interested in any appliance related forums you guys read over there.

I don’t seem to find much on my own when I do google searchs for them.

    Thanks,
    AJ

This is probably the main dedicated site, although our Andy runs http://www.washerhelp.co.uk .

Then there are the usual DIY/Fixityourself outfits where dangerous uncontrolled mayhem appears to take place with no concerns for safety – best avoided………

I tried to keep up with Appliance Guru, nice blokes that run that one but TBH I ran out of time to look on there. 🙁

There’s not too many out there and even less that appear to be well run sadly, as Chris says, most appear to be chaotic for the most part although I’ve not looked at yours AJ. Problem is that there’s too many people posting a load of cr4p that is dangerous and often can border on insanity that could possibly get people killed. I’m never done telling people that you often have to consider not just the muppet posting at the time but the next 200 or so muppets that try to do likewise to save a few pennies.

One thing I did notice about the States was that there seems to be no coherent trade association strategy, it appear to be all over the place with little to no organisation and I’m guessing that won’t help much.

    K.
