Participanthi all,
First time poster from ireland here!
i have read the very useful buying guides and posts… thank you to everyone who wrote them. I found them very useful. We have a requirement for a rental property
1) washer/dryer
2)undercounter fridge with 4* freezer/icebox
3)Free standing single oven cookerFor rental property, our requirement would be reliability and price. Having searched for a while, these are the appliances i came up with:
1) Zanussi zkg7125 (cost 470euros)
2) Lec R5010W (cost 160 euros)
3) Nordmende CSE60WH (cost 240euros) – 3 year warrantyWould anyone be able to recommend better quality, more reliable appliances in and around the same price. Of course, would be willing to pay a little bit more if the appliance will last a lot longer.
many thanks,

Hi – sorry upfront that this isn’t product specific advice, but be aware that many (most ?) warranties are limited to domestic use, and if the retailer/manufacturer knows this is a rental property, that will be classed as commercial, so a long warranty might turn out to be useless (*). I know a lot of landlords tend to get cheap but short life expectancy stuff for exactly that reason and tenants not always caring for stuff as well as they might.
