ModeratorI have one question regarding the forms apart from finding my WTA number.
On the form it lists ‘Tax number’ forgive my stupidity but is this Vat, income tax or something else?
Perhaps any other questions could be added to this thread to keep it nice and tidy and all in one place. 😉

Just recieved pack of T&Cs and want to clarify a couple of points.
Can I confirm section warranty conditions.
2.6 Warranty does not cover routine maintenance. All maintenance tasks including installation connection, maintenance, replacement of wearable parts, mains electric cord, light bulbs, fuses, batteries, sealing gaskets, resetting electronic systems, settingclock and cleaning.
Wearable parts? Does this mean its not covering any moving parts such as bearings, brushes etc..Embarassed
Resetting the electronics if done via telephone fix will this be classed as a telephone fix@ £15 or is this still not covered by warranty?
I assume the rates are + vat?
Its better that this is checked and confirmed now to make sure we all know what is covered, yes it should be common sense and i know sometimes the translation of wording is not clear.
Hopefully this will save any embrassasing cock ups on the claim sheets before we begin?

Can we send forms back without membership number on?
Or do you want us to hold back until we recieve our numbers from you?

Remember there’s some Poglish in there. I didn’t have the time to totally clean it all up 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} as some people where doing my nut in to get teh stuff out quickly and, I hasten to add, not just agents. 😉
Forms can come back without numbers on them, we can tie that up.
Tax number is VAT number, correct.
On the 2.6 contract thing, this is a debate that Simon has had with Poland as, in Poland and certain other EU countries it is totally correct that the likes of brushes are not covered by warranty but, in the UK they have to be. Making Poland understand this has been, will we say, a challenge. For the moment and, unless further clarity is given by Amica, assume that it as is everyone else trading in the UK.
There’s a few disparities like that I’m afraid between normal trading terms that Amica have outside the UK and what we have to do/offer due to the very robust consumer legislation in the UK.
Reset of a board is covered in the call avoidance but I would ask that we all don’t take the you know what with it. If we do it’s liable to come under scrutiny.
Rates are plus VAT, yes.
