ParticipantHi everyone
Been out to this washing machine it would do nothing but pump out.
I changed the main module and it done a 30min quick wash while I was there. Customer rang next day to say that it was only pumping out again.Any ideas anyone??

Sorry meant to mention that it does not show any fault codes that I can see.
ThanksOctober 10, 2012 at 9:47 am #382691Muv

Sounds like it could be a dodgy pressure switch

Hi Martin
Does a new pressure switch need to be reset as I’ve read in some posts?

I’ve never had to do the reset procedure after putting a new switch in…I think that’s only applicable if you have had to clean out the filter/pump, and the machine has been layed flat down on either its back, or sides, this lets water run up tube and in to switch…
Or so I believe….unless anyone knows different?

Has it got the linear pressure switch ?
If so it thinks there is water in it. Iv seen these pump for about 45 minutes then throw F05. But if it was not left that long no error was shown.
Did you check the sump? One had a blockage (sock) in the sump. In the other a cable tie manage to float up into the pressure hose rite at the bottom.

What do you mean by a linear pressure switch?
The one fitted to this machine is blue in colour and has 4 wires connected to it by edge connector.October 10, 2012 at 9:07 pm #382696madangler1

Yep that’s linear switch, measures actual water quantity via pressure rather than just a set level.
I would check the sump and pressure system then perform a reset as per HP method
