Hi,
We have an Aqualtis AQ113L
We recently put a bath mat in the washing machine, unfortunately a huge amount of the pile came off the bath mat and blocked the machine, and it stopped mid cycle
She used the door override to unlock the door and get the mat out but then accidentally put it on to rinse instead of drain which about half filled the machine. We took the filter out of the front to drain it but virtually nothing came out.
We got the water out by opening the door and catching it then scooping out as much as we could!
I tipped the machine on its back, took the sump hose off and cleared out a huge ball of fluff.
It now pumps out fine.
However the machine will no longer fill. On a wash cycle, after spending a good 5-10 minutes pumping it sits there doing nothing. Left it sitting for about 30-40 minutes but no flashing lights or anything.
On rinse it spends a minute or two pumping and then starts slowly spinning but with no water.
Tried a spin cycle and it pumped for at least 15 minutes before even starting to spin.
Inlet hose is clear, pressure is fine, water is on – don’t know how to test the valve but would be surprised if it had also broken… (I have noticed the inlet hose ‘jump’ for a second when it stops pumping in the wash cycle which suggests to me it is capable of taking water in?)
Suspected a blockage in the pressure vessel or the tube. I detached the tube from both ends and blew through it, but the vessel is in the drum and can’t get to it. Didn’t make any difference to the what the machine does.
Any ideas where to go from here? Help appreciated.
Thanks,
Matt
