    Aquarius 1000 WM62X?

I have exactly the same fault as another user
    ____________________________________________________
    “Hotpoint WM62 is not spinning?
my hotpoint WM62 is not spinning it is filling and emptying but just clicking and staying still when it should be spinning”

The answer was new carbon brushes in the motor

I was wondering if this is the same fault for my MODEL WM62X

If so which part do I need to buy

    A) Carbon Brush Kit
GDA motor carbon brush kit for washing machines

    or

    B)Carbon Brush
Carbon brush and holder for FHP motors

Please can anyone tell me how to fit it, anyone got instructions or a service manual or does the instructions come when you buy the part?

    Thanks

Power disconnected first please. Rotate motor and see if the clicking happens at one place in rotation. If so you have part of the commutator that has broken off and you require, depending on what type of motor a new armature or a new motor. If however it clicks all the way around you will perhaps get away with brushes. FHP brushes are fairly reliable GDA wear out regularly. To tell the difference – FHP motor has a label indicating its a ‘FHP’ Diagnose fault first and then take the old brushes to your local independent or through shop@ where you can see pictures.
