Hi I have a aquarius tvm570 dryer and the power on/off switch is broken, the 2 wires are removed from terminal spades from the switch but machine still runs? So have to use switch on wall to turn off. Will simply putting new switchon operates the power again?
Also the door won’t close as the lock mechanism won’t move so have to tape door closed to stop washing falling out. Is the mechanism faulty? Or is there a simple solution? Thank you.
Re: aquarius tvm570 dryer door lock and power switch
Allowing for it being the weekend most of the trade members who do read the public forums will tend to avoid threads when they read ‘wires removed’ but machine still being used and also ‘door taped up’. :rolls:
Can only suggest you replace the faulty switch first and then the door lock if it still doesn’t work.
