Participanti really could use a hand on this one
i delivered last week a hotpoint aqualtis AQXXF149PM
already i have been phoned to say that it had a crack in the door which turns out to be the handl;e but now i have a new problem
apparntley the machine is wonderful on all cycles fills heats empties spins like a good un
but
on the bed and bath cycle i am told that the machine will fill an that the drum will not move(she knows this cos she watched it) she then promptly rang the husband who works on an oil rig to ring me he does not know if it does the final spin or not but all the info i so far have is
it fills takes roughly the right amount of time to wash and finishes spin unknown but no wash action but again when put on any other cycle will work fine
can someone give me some details for the bed and bath wash and has anyone ever heard of one of these just opting for no motor action on one program only
oh yes no error codes or flashing lights of any kind
maybe she is mad or just wrong i dont know but i could do with being prearmed on this oneOctober 6, 2011 at 11:33 am #360745Martin

Its a full 60 degree cycle, spins at 1400rpm and washes up to a 7.5kg load.

i got that much from the manual what i am really after is if the drum agitates a lot or are there long periods of inactivity also is it a high water level maybe allowing the lifters to barely touch the laundry
i still have been unable to contact the lady involved directly but if the machine for instance sits for the heating phase it may be that she has seen
thanksOctober 6, 2011 at 12:28 pm #360747DDSDDS

spoke to the woman
she says she put it on a delay start to start at 3 am and at 9 am she came in and found the towels wet on bottom but dry on top and the display said one minute left this was on monday she has since used it on many cycles 40 cottons 90 cottons and fast wash all have completed without a problem she again used bed and bath this morning and says it was on for “almsot” half an hour it had taken water with no drum agitation…i have never heard of a spin fault so specific as this?
does anyone have any clue? -
