Are all Miele built the same?

Hi there… we are a large family of 6! The washing machine gets used practically EVERY day and we think its time to upgrade from Bosch to one of these Miele washing machines http://www.rdo.co.uk/washing-and-drying/washing-machines/shopby/brand-miele.html
So My question is, out of those washing machines are all Miele machines built to the same standard? Are they the same build quality? Should the most expensive one out live the cheapest one or are they all built to the same spec?

The more expensive have more programme options, faster spin and so on plus selected models have a 10yr guarantee which make them more expensive due to the simple fact that you are paying extra for that guarantee. 😉

My only gripe with Miele is that many of the programme cycles take forever (3hrs typical) and for your large family washday will never cease. Bosch likewise have lengthy programme times. Makes a nonsense of so called ‘energy efficiency’ I reckon. :rolls:

I have the Miele WCE330 and a standard 40 degree Cottons wash generally takes around 1 hour 20 mins. The display on the machine states it will take 2 hours 39 mins when each cycle is started, but this is recalculated within the first few mins based on the size of the load. I don’t run the machine with particularly small loads, but i don’t overfill it either. The wash time is almost always adjusted to 1 hour 18 after 2 mins of it starting. The only time a standard 40 degree Cottons cycle took longer than two hours was when i washed a super king sized duvet – no great surprise there! I hope this helps anyone worried about lengthy wash times.
