It’s just quiet.
But it’s a bloody good comms tool. We ought to keep the impotus up and not let it die like the Electrolux one did and the NESN one. The good thing about this site is I can say what I want without it getting deleted.
So yes Ted I agree, Come back from the FUCKING Dead ( Or Russia !!!).
I thnk it is a case of not being quiet out there as to why there is little happening on here. We all know there are dealings going on and probably leaving them to it, in other words they are managing without our help.
Regards this site, we must get more input and more names into the forums. As well as the lux one, there was another called Techtorque, set up by Andy Warwick of Aztech Services in Fleet Hampshire, it started off with great speed but died on the vine due to lack of support.
LOL, you find that when business goes quite everything goes quiet, but it amazes me just how busy this site gets at times. Yesterday was a classic example, before lunch the site had only had just over 500 hits, before the end of the day it went mental and ended up with over 1700!
There has been 5 new sign ups in the past two days and I’ve noticed more and more IP’s hanging around for a while or repeat visitors, some of them Dave and I are fed up seeing. The sentiment being, FFS just sign up!
As long as the site is of use it will continue, but it needs constant work and promotion to an extent but Flipper is right, the beauty of it is that there is practically no restriction on what is being said other than being careful you don’t become too personal about it.
As to it being quiet, hell knows, so many people are complaining about it just now for some reason and even my mail is quiet, including mail alerts which is very weird.
