Customer is complaining that the dryer is finishing premature after selecting the time side of dryer selection, cloths still wet, went round couldent find a fault waited after the 6mins(he’s timed it) and it seemed ok after selecting 30min, customer insisted its timing out early, apart from that everythings working ok, good flow of air no blockages and hot air, anyone aware of this fault?
Its pumping out fine first thing i checked, gave the machine a good functional test, iv not checked for the fill rate of valve but im assuming that this would have to let enough water in to activate fill level1 and then switch of dryer as fault?
i sat and watched the dryer op for about 10mins, no sighs of filling with water?would this be sufficiant to rule out valve problem?
Sometimes the best approach with intermittents is to swap the cheapest suspect part and see if it works. (Informing the customer of your startegy obviously). Would suggest valve coil first. If dryer timer is electronic, call EMW for a board.
