Hi all
wondering if anyone can help with this

the washing mashine finished ok but will not wash the next load the red light next to the programmer will not come on when you turn the machine on however the door light is on as if the door is still locked

just got back of holiday so not the best time for this to happen as the kitchen now looks like a teenagers bedroom floor

is there any easy way of reseting this before i call out an enginner we have no manual 😕

Unplug appliance wait 2 mins. Ensure water level is not up door glass before opening door.

thanks but door will open and close freely locked light stays on have unplugged for 30 mins but still the same ???
Im thinking it may be something to do with the door catch ????

sounds like motor open circuit – check brushes – unplug machine before going in though.

sorry misread post. So does the door even lock at all? Reset is done by turning to the end of the program.

yep door does close not sure if it locks though as programmes will not start all seems dead apart from the one light to indicate door is locked when it will open and close as normal

PS. Have you followed Martin114’s advice, please be sure to remove the mains plug before you go inside. If you are unable to check the brushes yourself then it is engineer time.
