    hi i have an ariston margarita a1635 and it will not complete the full program and flashes 10 times, i have searched but cannot find the problem for 10 flashes cheers

    not sensing pressure switch

    if your lucky, it’ll be just that, but experience would suggest a faulty pcb

    hi i have found a pcb for £29 but its says without eprom and i dont know what that is or if i need a new one of them aswell can you help me cheers

    yes u will need a new one (eprom), unless youve had a pcb before, and casn swap iit over?

    I’ll take three……

    Seriously, check whether or not the pressure switch is clicking over or not. Better still, check the switching function with a multimeter. It’s the “cheap and easy” bit.

    PCB are generally bad news, expensive to get the right one, and awkward to set up properly. And still very unreliable……

    If the pressure switch proves to be functional I’d be thinking about moving on – far better product out there for little more money

    also im not a dummy BUT how do i check the pressure switch 😳
    and i dont have a multimeter or know how to use one if you want to help me with that aswell it would be great cheers

    At the risk of incurring your displeasure, I would respectfully suggest that if the above statement is true, you leave well alone and call someone in who does know how to test and repair electrical/electronic equipment.
