I have an Ariston 1635UK washing machine, two years old. There was a problem with the bearings, the engineer called and had to replace the inner and outer drum cause the bearings had siezed! He ”fixed” this, went away, I put on the machine and it leaked everywhere – he hadnt connected all the hoses. Back he came and ”fixed” this. Ive just tried to use my machine, only to find that the power light comes on, the door lock light comes on and nothing else happens (no matter what programme, doesnt put water in – nothing at all). It seems every time the engineer calls he creates a further problem. Any ideas why its lights on, but no action?

if the door is locking and the machine wont take water has he kinked the water inlet pipes (red and blue) to your machine or not even turned them on??
