just over a year old, easy iron and door locked lights flashing, the motor makes a noise but does not turn so looks like the motor, is this a motor fault code if anyone knows

This will either be the same as the WIDL error codes on page 3 of the known error codes list or as per Iadom’s post (Codes for most Hotpoint WF & WD machines without digital display) on page four here:
