HI, I’ve got the Ariston A1636 washing machine which is 2 and a half years old. It’s working great but I keep getting white (fluff?) marks on dark items – especially on black t-shirts. 😕
I’ve tried empty washes and cleaning the drum but still it happens – it’s driving me nuts!!! I read on a review that it’s got an internal filter – could it be partially blocked or something. If so, how do I clean it?

Many thanks in anticipation of your help.

Filter is contained in the hose connecting the drum to the pump – access through rear lower cover wsith the power off.

A read through some of the articles here:

    will be quite revealing.

Thank you, Penguin45, hubby is going to try that for me. When I first got the machine I used 2 Ariel tablets to do a wash but I ended up with more foam than expected. I phoned Ariston and they said just to use 1 tablet as it’s all that’s needed. “The detergent companies quote 2 to get you to use more of their product”, is the reply I received!!
Have you heard this and is it true? 1 or 2?

Thanks again for your help and for the eye-opening link you sent me.

    Carol.
