    Hi All

    It seems out washing machine has developed a fault this morning. The door no longer clicks shut when closing it, and hence none of the functions will work as the key symbol just continously flashes.

    This maching is now about 14 months old so presuming it is now out of guarantee.

    any help would be very much appreciated.

    It could be a faulty door interlock, or something as simple as a broken door latch or spring.

    Power off if you intend to proceed further or click on the link in my sig to see if we have someone who can help, should not be to expensive to repair.

    I have tried changing the door interlocking mechanism with a new one bought from spare parts store.

    This seems to have made no difference – just wondering where the door locking mechanism actually gets its feeds from.

    Are there any online resources for wiring diagrams or maintenance manuals for these models.

    All official diagrams are copyright, so you will not be able to obtain them by legitimate means, it is looking like it is time for the experts. 😉

    take the door trims apart and check that the metal pin holding the door catch is pushed down 😉
