Custsomer rang up and said machine not heating 🙂
Sounds like a job for my new Clamp Meter
thinks I“It is heating madam”, I smugly informed her, look, its pulling 8 amps! 😀
“No way” 😡 says she, “i stood here and felt the glass through the whole wash”.
“Now take another look at my new tool madam, it clearly shows a current of 8+ amps being drawn by your element, it is definitly working”!
And then a relay clicked somewhere, machine started a more regular wash action, the heater no longer energised after only 5 minutes on a 60 degree wash 😕
What could this be?
Thermistor was reading 15.3k ohms

heater should be 30 ohms – thermister should be 20k at 20c.
worth a shot at the thermistor first but it may be the pcb.bob
