Ariston AF300 d/w not heating

There are three stats, a screw in one by the element which is closed cct
a white one and a blue one next to the sump which are both open cct.
Does anyone know if this is their correct state ?

The screw in one near the heater is described as thermostat safety 78 NC

The other “two” are actually one part and is described as thermostat 50/62 NO

So it would appear that they read OK.

Timers are a common failure on these, pull all the plugs off and check for burnt terminals 😉

Cheers Dave,

I checked the timer for any sign of terminal damage and there was none,
popped a new timer on even so and the machine works fine now.
